With all the things going on in our country today: schools and universities being shut down; major corporations telling their employees to work from home; concerts, events, sports, and large gathering being postponed or canceled, grocery store shelves being completely empty...
People are panicking and I don't blame them. Right now, with all the hysteria, overwhelm, and uncertainty of our economy, it's easy to go into a scarcity mindset.
"There's not enough food in the grocery stores! I don't have enough money saved! I can't afford to not work!"
Even if you usually have an abundant mindset, times like these can hit you so hard and completely throw everything you've been working on out the window.
In times of National Emergency, the only thing that YOU have control over is YOU and your household. That's why it's so important to not bring the negativity of the world into your safe place.
Your home and mind should be a sanctuary and you should not allow the panic, anxiety, and chaos to enter. I know this is easier said than done.
I am not immune to all the drama. I've had at least two full-on panic attacks since this all started.
What helped me the most was finding a quiet place, breathing deeply, and reminding myself how blessed I am and that everything will be okay.
A few mantras that have been on repeat in my head the past few days:
I am thankful for everything I have.
I'm thankful for the family I'm surrounded with.
I am grateful for the money I have now & for the money coming my way.
I will always be provided for.
At a time like this, you seriously cannot afford to be in scarcity mode. It will lead to a miserable heart, anger, and unhappiness.
When we are happy, at ease, and calm, our body does a much better job of keeping us safe and fighting off unwanted sickness. But being upset and anxious will weaken the immune system and no one can afford that right now.
Do what is best for you and your family and remember that you will be provided for. One way or another you will get through this and you will be stronger because of it.
I've created a few mindset audio lessons that I truly believe will help keep your brain and emotions in abundance mode while the chaos continues to unfold. If you'd like to get access to those, CLICK HERE.
